Christie Tournet is a St. Tammany Parish attorney and Certified Dementia Practitioner focused on estate planning, elder law, estate administration, and long-term care planning. She helps families prepare for life's transitions with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. Christie works closely with clients to design comprehensive estate plans, guide families through succession and probate, and develop proactive Medicaid and long-term care strategies. Her approach is personal, practical, and grounded in real-world experience.
Before practicing law, Christie spent more than a decade in the Greater New Orleans real estate and construction industries and previously held both a Louisiana notary commission and an active Louisiana Realtor license. This background allows her to understand property, business, and family planning from multiple perspectives.
Christie graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans with a double major in Economics and International Business and earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law's evening program while working full-time. She was awarded the LaNasa-Greco Endowed Scholarship and the Loyola Law Excellence Award in Probate. She has also been recognized as a peer-rated SuperLawyers® and BestLawyer® and has received numerous “Best of” recognitions.
She is an active member of the 22nd JDC Bar and local estate planning organizations and provides pro bono service through Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, including “Volunteers for Veterans” and “Wills for Heroes.”
